Marketing Innovation - marketing innovation is about new marketing methods involving new or significantly improved ways of marketing or promoting a library service or product. Organisational Innovation - this involves introducing a new or improved way of organizing or managing the library service, including working in partnership with other services, to increase overall performance and productivity.

3. Rationale for the Innovation

This is where you should describe the innovation in detail, explain why you consider it is innovative and provide evidence to support your assertion. a. Describe the innovation. The Clinical Librarian Service and the Medicines Information have collaborated to support anyone in Walsall Manor Hopsital and the community in seeking research information to help improve the care of patients. Both services support and assist all health care professionals including consultants and senior managers with any clinical queries or medicines information. This project was set up in January 2010. The collobration between the two services has been named MiCRES - Medicines Information and Clinical Research Services
