Note to parents: Students will be bringing home copies of their Monday through Friday reading assignment to be completed and returned on the following Monday. This is a required assignment every week and if not completed and turned in it will affect the student’s grade. Also, on top of the reading we do in class I will assign a book for the students to read at home every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Students only have one night to complete the reading unless told otherwise. Parents must sign the reading log for each of these reading assignments. This is required homework and will be a grade for their reading. Note to parents: Each student has been given a copy of an e-mail from a missionary family that has two boys that are home schooled in the mission field. Each student is to write, print and send an e-mail to these two boys and if an e-mail is received by the student the student needs to print it out as well and bring it to school. This is a portion of this semester’s project so student will be graded on each aspect that is completed. Students will also be working on a poster board presentation on the country they choose which is due when they return from the Christmas break.
