What Will Communications Look Like?
Joint Communications Team
November 2016
Communication Objectives
Our broad objectives for external communications are to convey a message that we are welcoming to everyone, and that the coming together of LUC & PWUC is an expression of this larger welcome. We will maintain a transparent voice, with timely and well-paced sharing of stories and updates. LUC has worked on telling its story consistently, and our communications will work on developing a consistent voice for our new story. In the short term, this will mean consistent images for the coming together process, sharing PWUC stories on LUC’s website, and continuing to share spiritual content (such as Emily’s Weekday Wonderings; Tanya’s Parent Pages; quotations & service highlights on social media).
Our objectives for internal communications in the short term are to increase the communications between PWUC and LUC. In the short and long term, we will maintain the communication strategies that are already working with emails, etc. In order to continue connecting with the core base of both congregations we will also share stories of the traditions of the two congregations.
