Technology:  All students have access to a TI-Nspire in class, at home (will be lent out), and on the AP Exam.  Students will be required to use statistical software (JMP) to create computer-generated graphs and to analyze data.  Various java applets will be used in activities to help students understand statistical concepts.

Assessment:  Tests: Each semester will have 5-6 tests which will count 35% of the quarter average. Each test is comprised of a multiple choice section and a free response section.  Quizzes: You will be quizzed on every chapter in the textbook. This will count as 25% of your quarter grade. Quizzes may be multiple choice and/or free response.  Projects: You will complete “FRAPPYs” for each unit. These are practice free response questions from previous AP exams. These will count as 20% of your quarter grade.  Classwork: You will be expected to work hard in class and complete in class assignments. These will be 10% of your quarter grade.  Homework: Homework will be given daily. It is expected to be turned in the next day. This will make up 10% of your quarter grade. Course Outline:
