6 Hall №4 NON-CASH OPERATIONS - AS A RESOURCE FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH Association "National Level of non-cash payments is an important feature, not only for the Payments Council" development of the national payment system but also for the economy as a whole. Over the past few years the rapid development has brought the Russian market of non-cash payments to a new level, for example, the number of transactions to pay for goods and services exceeded the number of bank card cash withdrawal (52 % vs. 48%). New products and technologies are developing at the accelerating pace: from electronic money to NFC. The government actively regulates payments market, including through the introduction of oversight procedures for payment systems. The link between a high proportion of non-cash circulation and level of economic development, its transparency and efficiency is recognized by all members of the expert community.
