3) Agenda - Motion to accept agenda from Janet and seconded by Krista

4) Treasurer’s Report - Dianne Vivian provided Treasurer’s Report as follows: - General Account- $4156.17 - Graduation Fund- $1300.00 - Total In Bank- $5456.17

5) Principal’s Report: -Thank you to Sarah for being Chair this year and to CSAC for their time -Invitation for Volunteers Breakfast extended April 15 at 8 am -Lenten Activities/Opening Doors of Mercy- donated $524 to Huron Hospice and Mr. Larry Langan matched our donation -First Holy Communion April 10th at 2:00 pm, Confirmation May 19th, Grad June 28th at 5 pm followed at Oakwood Inn -Peanut Free – Continued communication to whole community (signs going up outside) Noon hour monitor and nighttime custodian still needed -Parenting reaching out grant – we continue to spend full amount of $1000 from last year This year’s PRO grant on behalf of CSAC, do you have any suggestions what you would like to see in grant application (examples given in handout) -New Website to show -New Online Cash (whole school board- it is really important that all families use this system. We welcome parents to call us and we will help them to get set up. If there are any concerns around the new board initiative then please direct to Chris Howarth, Superintendent of Finance -School will be a construction zone this summer- Library upgrade -This Spring Bullying survey from the HPCDSB- I encourage all parents to participate as the more results we get the more accurate our information and we use this with our safe and healthy school team. -Thank you for asking staff and students for ideas around school needs that fall outside the board budget or school budget Picnic tables Tetherball in the intermediate yard 5-10 more Chrome Books Creative play on the backdrop- students Possible they think CSAC Exeter pays for busses to sporting events???

- Annual Code of Conduct to be approved (and included in next year’s Family Handbook) - Annual Dress Code to be approved (and included in next year’s family handbook) - Review of Technology Use at OLMC to be approved (and included in next year’s family handbook) - 7 snow days to date- down from 8.5 last year - New bus drivers on Bus 2 and Bus 4- all buses have assigned seating arrangements for the safety of the students - Holy Thursday Gr. 7/8 class did an amazing job of presenting in tableau the Stations of The Cross - Stuff on the Bus on April 27th, we have the School Board Cross April 25-28 - Catholic Education Week May 2-6, Mental Health Week - Grade 8 students off to Gr.8 fest in Sarnia (Melissa and Di to attend as well) - Track and Field is May 18, rain date May 20 - Gift for a retiring teacher cannot come out of School Generated Funds- Open House June 22 in Exeter at Crabby Joe’s 6) Fundraising: -End goal is- Grad $1300, BBQ-$250, Turkey Dinner- $500, ($2050 Total) - Looking into cost of Picnic Tables and bench around the tree - Looking into cost of 5 Chrome books
