Capable sort on his days but remains highly unpredictable 6. CRICRI VALSE - Good last effort in harness. Cannot be dismissed on debut under the saddle 7. CAPITAINE D'EOLE - Erractic horse who may find it tough on return to ridden racing. Watch 8. CHINA MALBERAUX - Currently enduring stride issues and unlikely to attract much support 9. Highly-regarded by trainer Joel Hallais (1) EPSOM DU RIB was runner-up to a smart filly last December and the son of Menphis du Rib has to be closely monitored on return to action. ARRIVAL DE GINAI - Proven sort in this class of event. Will find it much easier than in her last start 10. UNE DES ONDES - Likely to need the run on return to action and best to be passed over 11. USUEL - Lightly-raced since last summer but has done extremely well when keeping within the rules. Returns from a short break today 12. VIVOLI - Displayed a couple of sound efforts since the new year and cannot be excluded of the equation 13. UNAKI DE FELLIERE - Looks out of contention in a race of this nature. Best to watch 14. VOUGEOT DU MOURIEZ - On the sidelines since 9 December and unlikely to make an impact on comeback 15. UFANO - Much preferred when running barefoot. May need the race and best to watch 16. BELLINISSIMO - Unbeaten in three associations with Camille Levesque. Should prove hard to get passed 8. VALDERIC - Useful performer in both disciplines. Has been in mixed form since the new year 9. It is quite obvious that (3) CISKA LOVER needed the race in her last start and barefoot today she gets a confident vote to get back in the winners enclosure. (11) CARINA DU PARC ran a strong last kilometer at Cordemais and a repeat of this effort shall see her go close.
