1pm to 1:30 pm Welcome and Ice Breaker Mary McDonald, WSA President
1:30pm to 3pm State Policy Updates Katy and Joel will update you on what took place in Olympia during the 2015-2016 legislative session, the interim work taking place including licensing alignment, child care fixes, and will discuss our initial conversations about our ECEAP “ask” for next session.
3pm to 3:30pm Break/Check-in Opportunity
3:30pm to 5:30pm Learn how to raise more money while honoring your donors Jim Shapiro from the Better Fundraising Company will join us to teach us how to build an annual fundraising plan that really works by leveraging the simple truths of Ask, Thank, Report and Repeat. These simple words will transform your fundraising plan and results. No matter what fundraising method you use, you can raise more money, honor your donors, and build relationships that will fuel your mission for years to come.

Tuesday July 12th
9am to 10:15am ECEAP Eligibility and Priority Points Conversation Kelli Bohanon, our new ECEAP Administrator, will join us to kick start a conversation which will ultimately lead to a new set of priority points and maybe some good thinking on a proposal to increase the income eligibility for ECEAP. 10:15 am to 10:30 am Break
10:30 am to 12noon Early Achievers 2.Something Ryan Pricco from Child Care Aware will be joining us to discuss the latest developments within Early Achievers and to answer your questions.
12pm to 1:15 pm Lunch
1:15pm to 1:45pm Head Start Collaboration Office Update Caitlin Jensen our Head Start Collaboration Director will be joining us to update you on upcoming projects and to get some feedback on the direction of her work.
1:45pm to 3pm Deep Dive on Duration with Region X Office of Head Start In this session we will be joined by Julianne Crevatin and her staff at the Region X Office of Head Start talk about best practices for increasing duration at your program.

9am to 10:30am Early Learning Policy Update with Catherine Brown Catherine Brown the Vice President of Education Policy for the Center on American Progress will join us to discuss where we are in early childhood education and what the future might hold.
