There was a quorum. 9 10 Brian Crawley read scripture and prayed. 11 12 Remarks from Provost 13 14 Rosemary Allen recognized several faculty who taught over 100 students this 15 semester. She also thanked the faculty for their attendance at the NCATE meeting. 16 17 Minutes of the Previous Faculty Meeting 18 19 A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the March 22, 2007. 20 Motion passed. 21 22 Faculty Elections 23 24 The following faculty were elected to positions for the 2007-2008 academic year. 25  Faculty Chair – Ellen Emerick 26  Faculty Secretary – Andrea Peach 27  Faculty Parliamentarian – Scott Takacs 28  Member at Large – Institutional Effectiveness – 1 Year Term – Roger Ward 29  Budget Committee of the College – 2 Year Term – Todd Coke 30  Committee on Committees – 1 Year Term – 3 Members -- Juliee Decker, Jean 31 Kiernan, Emily Stow 32 33 Standing Committees 34 35 Academic Policy Committee: Ben Oldham, on behalf of the Academic Policy 36 Committee, moved that faculty accept the report of the committee as shown on the 37 faculty meetings website.
