By: Jennifer Case The following is a list of items that I think would be helpful to teach U. S. History to my primary students.

Video Tapes

1. The Mayflower Voyagers $14.95 Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and their pals join the Pilgrams for a grand adventure at sea and ashore. The dauntless band endures hardships on the voyage, survives the New England winter, and celebrates with a feast of Thanksgiving.

2. The Birth of the Constitution $14.95 The Founding Fathers get some bell-ringing help from Snoopy and his friends when the Peanuts gang shows up at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall to help create the Constitution.

3. The Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk $14.95 The Peanuts help Orville and Wilbur get off the ground, but the hapless Charlie Brown crashes his kite.

4. The Viking Explorers $95.00 This video discusses the nature of the Vikings, and the Viking settlements in England, Iceland and Greenland. Enrichment Readings

Computer Software
