Scholarship Lottery for CPA Exam Candidates $400

PURPOSE: To provide financial aid to individuals who do not receive employer assistance for exam costs.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: The individual must be a resident of Massachusetts and plan to sit for the Uniform CPA exam as a Massachusetts candidate between May 1, 2013 and April 30, 2014.

The individual does not receive financial assistance for exam fees from his or her employer in the form of payments/reimbursements of exam fees or review courses, or a bonus upon passing the exam.

GUIDELINES: Up to 10 vouchers in the amount of $400 will be awarded. The Society will redeem vouchers when the exam candidate provides a copy of his or her Notice to Schedule (NTS) issued by CPA Exam Services. To receive payment, individuals must attest that their employer does not provide financial assistance as stipulated above. Vouchers are not transferable and must be redeemed by April 30, 2014. If you become ineligible to use the voucher, you are requested to notify the MSCPA.

AWARD: The winners will be notified by April 30, 2013 and announced at the Society's Annual Recognition Reception on May 16.
