5. Refer to the instructions on the Scheduling Permit to schedule your testing appointment. Please use the number on the permit to make the appointment

Please be aware that testing appointments are scheduled on a first- come, first-served basis, therefore the earlier you schedule your appointment, the more likely you are to receive your preferred test location.

N.B. Candidates need to carefully follow all of the instructions regarding scheduling. Close attention is required. If you encounter a problem, please contact Prometric on the matter.

Contact ABAM with non-test site questions at: [email protected] After completing the above steps and obtaining your scheduling permit, you will follow the link to sign into the www.prometric.com/ABAM website. If you experience difficulties with completing the reservation process, please retry using these steps.

Scheduling is eligibility driven, once online if a candidate selects ‘Schedule an Appointment’ they are prompted to enter their scheduling number and the first 4 characters of their last name. At which time only available dates within the assigned eligibility period will show.

The next screen will start the process for selecting the test center This will bring up sites within a 200 mile radius (this is the default; Google maps the radius from the center of the state). If necessary, the candidate can increase the radius by clicking on the ‘Search Area’ drop down and choosing from the menu. Once the candidate identifies their preferred site they will select ‘Schedule an Appointment’

It automatically defaults to ‘Find available seats in a 3 month period’ and the corresponding month. All the candidate needs to do is click ‘Go’. The candidate will select the available date. Because ABAM is a one-day exam (assuming there is availability at the site) then only the date of the exam (assigned eligibility period) will appear. Although the available date is in blue it still needs to be selected for the available time to appear.

Once the available date is selected it will highlight in yellow and the available time will automatically appear in the box to the right Depending on site availability, site hours, and exam duration several sites could have multiple start times available. Candidates must select a time even if only one time appears. The ‘Next’ function will remain shaded until the available date and time are selected. Once the available date and time are selected the ‘Next’ button will become available. The candidate will click ‘Next’ to advance to the next page and continue with the scheduling process.
