Missouri Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship ....DUE SEPT. 30, 2015....Student or parent must be a member of the MO Cattlemen's Association or the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association. Preference given to a degree program within the agricultural field, but not required.

Wendy's High School Heisman....DUE OCT. 3, 2016 by 5 pm....Minimum 3.0 GPA, participate in at least one high school sport, demonstrate involvement in community

AES Engineering Services Scholarship...DUE OCT. 6, 2016...All students are eligible to apply...DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ENGINEERING CLASSES OR COURSE OF STUDY!

Maryville Rotary Club Farm Youth Award and Scholarship...DUE OCT 20, 2016 (to be received by this date - mail or email)...this award is presented to a student from Nodaway County that is involved in agriculture as well as school activities, community projects, church, and clubs. The recipient will also be awarded a $500 scholarship to be used in any field of study at NWMSU.

Horatio Alger Scholarship...DUE OCT. 25, 2016...Minimum 2.0 GPA, demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), and plan to pursue a 4-year bachelor's degree (may start at a 2-year institution, then transfer to a 4-year institution).

Coca Cola Scholars Foundation ...DUE OCT. 31, 2016....Minimum 3.0 GPA

Missouri S&T Chancellor's Scholarship...DUE NOV 1, 2016...Must be accepted to MO S&T, minimum 31 ACT, top 10% of your class (or 3.75 GPA).

NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing...DUE NOV. 7, 2016...Must be female and have computing/technology related achievements and interests. If you win the award, then you are eligible for additional scholarships from participating colleges (see website for details)

Hagan Scholarship Foundation...DUE NOV 15, 2016...Minimum 3.5 GPA, Minimum 23 ACT, show financial need (FAFSA EFC must be less than $7500), attend a 4-year college, hold a job. Start early, as there are many steps to this application. Follow directions carefully.

SWCS Show-Me Chapter Scholarship...DUE NOV 28, 2016...must plan to major in conservation or a natural-resources related field. This is an essay contest.

Elk's Most Valuable Student Scholarship...DUE NOV. 30, 2016...Scholarships awarded at local, state, and national levels and are renewable for 4 years. We usually have one or more students who receive this scholarship each year! Apply!!

John T. Belcher MSBA Scholarship....DUE DEC 9, 2016 (turn in to Mrs. Houtchens)...the Maryville R-II school board will select one applicant from Maryville High School to receive a local $250 scholarship. This person will then enter the state level competition for further scholarship consideration. One MHS student will receive a $250 scholarship.

Nodaway County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship...DUE DEC. 15, 2016...Minimum 2.5 GPA, must demonstrate leadership and financial need. Preference may be given to areas of study within the field of agriculture and food production. Special preference may be given for areas of study related to beef production.

MU Annual Scholarship...DUE DEC. 15, 2016...Must be accepted to the University of MO-Columbia in order to apply. All students planning to attend MU should apply!!! Fill out one application to apply for several scholarships.

Burger King Scholars Program...DUE DEC. 15, 2016...separate scholarships available to Burger King employees and to the general public.

MO Pork Association Youth Pork Ambassador Program...DUE DEC 16, 2016...applicant must be involved in the pork industry or the son/daughter of a parent or guardian involved in the pork industry.

NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award...DUE DEC. 18, 2016...applicant must be operating a small business (for example, could be a lawn service business or babysitting business).

SAE Scholarships....DUE JAN 15, 2017...several different scholarship available with various criteria. Refer to the criteria on each scholarship to determine if you are eligible to apply. Must major in engineering or other related science. Related sciences include: math, chemistry, physics, biology, technologies, computer science, etc.

National Multiple Sclerosis Scholarship...DUE JAN 18, 2017...for students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS

Missouri JCI Senate Scholarship...DUE JAN 20, 2017...all Missouri high school seniors are eligible to apply.

Conservation Foundation of MO Ed Stegner Natural Resources Scholarship...DUE JAN 31, 2016...must study within one of the 5 areas of natural resource management (fisheries, forestry, wildlife, parks/recreation, or soil and water conservation) at a Missouri college or university.

Northwest Missouri Docudrama Scholarship...DUE FEB 1, 2017...minimum GPA of 3.0, express an interest in pursuing education in Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Fire and Disaster Management, or related field. Missouri Conservation Agents Association Scholarshi p...DUE FEB 1, 2017...must pursue a degree in biology, wildlife management, forestry, fisheries, ecology, agriculture, criminal justice, or a field closely related to the preceding subjects.

National FFA Scholarship...DUE FEB 1, 2017 by 4:00 pm...Separate scholarships available for FFA members AND for non-FFA members. Do not have to be an FFA member to apply! Fill out one application to apply for more than 1800 scholarships!

Missouri Conservation Agents Scholarship...DUE FEB 1, 2017...Must be pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife Management, Forestry, Fisheries, Ecology, Agriculture, Criminal Justice, or a field of study closely related to these.

Louis and Grace Stelter Scholarship....DUE FEB 3, 2017...minimum 2.75 non-weighted GPA, must plan to attend a 4-year university in Fall 2017, must have part-time or summer work experience. Two MHS students (one boy and one girl) will be selected to receive $2500 scholarships!

Elks National Foundation Legacy Award...DUE FEB 3, 2017...parent or grandparent must be an Elks member

NWMSU Standard Scholarship...DUE FEB. 6, 2017...Must have been accepted to NWMSU. Fill out one application to apply for several scholarships. All students who plan to attend NWMSU should apply!!! **By completing the NWMSU Standard Scholarship, you are applying for several scholarships, including, but not limited to:  NWMSU Neta Derry Memorial Scholarship: awarded to an energetic and dedicated student who values learning. One MHS student will receive this $200 scholarship!  NWMSU Nancy Goff Memorial Scholarship: awarded to a student who plans to become a teacher. One MHS student will receive this $250 scholarship!  NWMSU Dennis Dau Scholarship: awarded to a student who has participated in MHS band and plans to be involved in instrumental performance at NWMSU. One MHS student will receive this $250 scholarship!

Missouri Corn Scholarship...DUE FEB 10, 2017...Must attend a two or four year Missouri college or university with an area of study in the field of agronomy or other related field.

Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship...DUE FEB 10, 2017...student or parent must be a Hy- Vee employee.

Project 21 Scholarship...FEB 15 DEADLINE FOR ARTICLE, POSTER, OR VIDEO DISPLAY...See scholarship details below (March 1 deadline). If you're confused about this, talk to Mrs. Houtchens. MHS has had good luck with this scholarship in the past. NEBS Four-Year Scholastic Award...DUE FEB 15, 2017...must attend NWMSU with a major in the school of business (or if a child of a NEBS employee, any major will qualify), minimum 3.0 GPA. See information page for more details.

MSCPA Scholarship Program...DUE FEB 24, 2017...must attend a Missouri college or university with a major in accounting. Must become a MSCPA student member, which is free and can be obtained online by following directions on the application.

Howard Wood Ringold Scholarship...DUE FEB 28, 2017...must be involved with the First United Methodist Church of Maryville, or the Wesley Center at NWMSU.

Missouri Association Mutual Insurance Companies Scholarship...DUE FEB 28, 2017...deliver in person or postmark by Feb. 28 to the Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, 311 E Summit Dr, PO Box 394, Maryville. Must attend a Missouri college or university. Preference will be given to students whose parent/guardians or grandparents are policyholders of Farmers Mutual of Nodaway County.

National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholar/Essay...DUE FEB 28, 2017...must have participated in two high school sports for at least two years in each sport. See application for more details and requirements.

Maryville Host Lions Club NWMSU Scholarship...DUE FEB 28, 2017...must attend NWMSU.

Project 21 Scholarship...DUE MAR 1, 2017...Must write an article OR create a poster OR create a video on the topic of underage gambling. The article, poster, or video must be published or displayed at school between Dec. 1, 2016 and Feb. 15, 2017 (see Mrs. Houtchens for help with this). Six scholarships of $1000 or more will be awarded statewide. MHS has had good luck with this scholarship in the past. Apply!

MCSC-Monsanto High School Student-Volunteer Community Service Scholarship Award...DUE MAR 10, 2017...must show strong commitment to community service.

Missouri Women's Golf Association Scholarship...DUE MAR 11, 2017...Must be a female who has been active in golf activities.

MFA Foundation Scholarship...DUE MAR 15, 2017...All MHS seniors are eligible to apply for this $2000 scholarship. Will be awarded to a Maryville High School student.

Maryville Pride Lions General Scholarship...DUE MAR 20, 2017...must enroll as a full- time student at any institution in Fall 2017. If a student applies for this General Scholarship, he/she may NOT apply for the Maryville Pride Lions Gordon Monk Visually Impaired Scholarship. Will be awarded to one or more Maryville High School students. Maryville Pride Lions Gordon Monk Visually Impaired Scholarship...DUE MAR 20, 2017...must have some type of visual impairment. If a student applies for this Monk Scholarship, he/she may NOT apply for the Maryville Pride Lions Club General Scholarship.

Bob Tietz Memorial Scholarship...DUE APR 1, 2017...minimum 2.5 GPA, must have played a minimum of 2 years on high school golf team.

Maryville Knights of Columbus Scholarship...DUE APR 1, 2017...must be an active parishioner of ST. Gregory's in Maryville, St. Benedict's in Burlington Junction, or St. Paul's in Tarkio.

United Producers, Inc Scholarship...DUE APR 1, 2017...must be a Preferred Member of UPI or a child or grandchild of a Preferred Member. Must be pursuing a career in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.

Northwest Missouri Financial Women Scholarship...DUE APR 1, 2017...minimum 3.0 GPA, must be a female with plans to pursue a degree in business or finance.

Margie E. Burch Scholarship...DUE APR 27, 2017...a non-reneable scholarship awarded annually to a Maryville High School senior. The Burch scholarship shall help a needy business class student pursue his/her educational goals.Will be awarded to a Maryville High School student.

Maryville R-II Laura B. Hawkins Scholarship...DUE APR 27, 2017...Minimum 3.0 GPA, plan to major in elementary, middle, or secondary education. Will be awarded to one or more Maryville High School students.

United Electric Cooperative - Associated Electric Cooperative Inc (ACEI) Scholarship...DUE APR 27, 2017...must attend a 2 or 4 year institution, with a program of study involving science and/or technology. Preference is given to a person served by a Missouri Electric Cooperative. Will be awarded to a Maryville High School student.

MO Society of Professional Engineers Northwest Chapter Scholarship....DUE APR. 30, 2017...Minimum 3.0 GPA, Minimum ACT Math 26 and English 24, Must enroll in an engineering program at one of the colleges listed on the application. At least 2 $1500 scholarships will be given to students from the northwest Missouri area. A good one for engineering majors to apply for!

Nodaway County Farm Bureau Scholarship...DUE MAY 8, 2017...parent must be a Nodaway County Farm Bureau member.

Tim Jackson Tri-State Ford Scholarship....DUE MAY 9, 2017 by 12:00 noon....must be an MHS senior who has overcome adversity in his/her life. Will awarded to a Maryville High School student. Maryville Business Women of Missouri Scholarship...DUE MAY 18, 2017...all Nodaway County students are eligible.
