ESSAY!!! -The Age of Absolutism brought about many changes in Europe. During this period in France, Henry IV (or Henry of Navarre), Louis XIII, Cardinal Richelieu, and Louis XIV created an absolute monarchy in France. In detail, describe how each of these leaders was tolerant or not tolerant as far as religion is concerned, what changes he made in France, how he achieved more power for himself, and what else he accomplished. Also, include actions that each leader took that may lead to problems for the monarchy in the future. Write one paragraph for each of the leaders stated above. Your paragraph on Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu may be combined.
