An Introduction to Understanding Contracts and Agreements

Displaying Your Products Workshop

The Collaborate for Business Growth ERDF project provides support to businesses from different sectors across Leicester and Leicestershire. The LCB Depot Business Growth Team is responsible for providing support to creative businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire.

The Business Growth Team are seeking to contract with a number of suppliers to deliver bespoke workshops to creative industry SME’s in Leicester.

Brief for the support

Many business do not display or describe their products online in a manner that will engage with potential customers. The Business Growth Team are seeking a deliverer that will be able to help creative businesses to describe their products online and show them how to take photographs that showcase their products. This bitesize workshop should demonstrate how language can be used to attractively describe products to stimulate customer’s interest and encourage purchases. Alongside this, the workshop should explore what techniques can be used to display products appropriately online and give the business owner the skills to be able to take their own photographs of their products for their online shop. This element of the workshop should be delivered in conjunction with a photographer or a creative business that has successfully displayed and sold products online.

Around 70% of creatives tend to have dyslexia, and this needs to be taken into account in planning the support. Where possible, the support should be innovative and interactive with practical tasks and examples. Delegates should leave with handouts and templates to use during and after the session.

The indicative budget for this work is £600 + VAT.

The event organiser will be responsible for:
