Choosing a Topic:  See reverse side of this sheet for sample PSA topics  You may use a topic on the list or come up with your own  All topics must be approved. Topics are approved on a first come first served basis

Getting Started:  With one partner, brainstorm ideas for a PSA. When ready, submit your topic. No two groups may do the same topic.  Create a tagline or slogan for your PSA. A tagline is a short line or phrase that is designed to be catchy and memorable. An example of a tagline would be: “Don’t drink and drive, stay alive.” Your tagline must be original.  Research your topic online. Find 5 facts about your topic that include statistics or quantitative information.  Research an organization or website that supports your cause. For example, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) would be an appropriate organization if your topic is animal abuse. If you cannot find an organization, you must pick another topic.  When approved, begin scripting and storyboarding. PSA Proposal Form
