THE COPPER CORNER LIST #61

July-September 2010 “Something for Everyone” 18th Century “CONDER” TOKENS------17TH Century tokens—19th Century tokens Medals, medalets, unusual historical items----

Hi Friends, ---cannot believe how time goes by. Have bought several token collections, always ready for more, so if you have anything for sale just let me know. Currently preparing for my trip to the UK---have my tickets in hand, so to speak, and will be there for the Congress, Coin Ex, and the Brown sale. Have heard from quite a few who are attending that sale so expect it to be a busy room!! If you need representation and cannot go, I would be happy to discuss that with you. To buy properly, you should have someone who will look at the material and form an opinion of value. Give me a call.

Those of you who get my lists via E-mail will have three to deal with, ---this list, #61----- Architecture, featuring tokens from makers such as Kempson and Skidmore, all of them being part of different series, from Gloucester, Middlesex, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire,---- and a bargain bin---a bit of a misnomer, for though there are some real bargains there, there are also some that are higher grade but impaired a bit, and also some common but nice pieces that sell for around the amount asked. All are $28 and less. If you do NOT read this via E-mail, you will not receive the secondary listings. If you wish them, call me and I will send out a copy. Anyone with E-mail will receive all three.

I have checked with Alberto Washington, in regard to the Token Congress slated now for 2011. It will most likely be held in Chicago at the time of the ANA, with the dates most likely being between August 16 and August 20, 2011. You are asked to please contact Alberto--E-mail [email protected] to get advance reservation. Having put one on myself I know how important it is to be able to count delegates to the congress well in advance, so please, if you are planning to go, or are even interested but not sure, contact him with your details so he can keep in touch.
