DUE BEGINNING OF CLASS ON FEBRUARY 20th

We thank pollinators for one in 3 mouthfuls of food and drink – everything from coffee to most fruits and vegetables to animal products including dairy products, beef and pork. These animals consume insect – pollinated legumes such as alfalfa and clover at some time. When we start to think about what we ate yesterday, we start to understand the importance of pollinators in our own diets.

You are to create a poster of your interpretation of the statement above. In order to receive full credit your poster must have;

1. The title “Local Heroes – Your Hardworking Pollinators” written on it 2. Must answer\demonstrate how pollinators are heroes. 3. Regular poster paper between the sizes 8.5” X 11” up to 22” X 28” 4. Colored using any medium; paint, magic marker, colored pencil, “collage”, chalk or crayon a. No 3 dimensional effects b. Clean and neat 5. Completed entry form due with poster
