Allergy We are a STRICT nut free program. Do not send with your child items containing nuts. If your child has an allergy or other medical condition, please make sure we have it on file along with a minimum of 2 emergency contacts.

Sick Call In If your child is sick and or has an unexcused absence arise at the last minute and is unable to attend rehearsal, email [email protected] AND text the remind app.
Rehearsals During rehearsals, we strive to keep everyone busy, but there will be down time. Feel free to have your child bring homework or any other quiet activity. You may send a nut free snack with your child, but we will not have a formal lunch or dinner break Tues-Thurs. On Saturday please send a nut free sack lunch with your child.
Costumes Your child will be provided with costume(s) from the Theatre. You may be asked to provide tights, shoes or basic undergarments. SOME cast members may be asked to bring in basic clothing for costume consideration. Cast members are not allowed to eat in their costumes.
Make-up/Hygiene Actors provide their own basic makeup, cover-up shirt and removal items. We require them to purchase or have the Ben Nye student kit. You can purchase this through us or another source. This kit will last you approx 3-4 run of shows. We ask that all students wear deodorant during dress rehearsal & shows.
Call Times During Tech/Dress Rehearsals and Shows, actors/crew are given a “call time.” This is the time the actors are expected to arrive. It gives them time to get dressed, apply makeup and check mics. You will be getting call times closer to performance: typically 1-1.5 hours prior to start time.
Tech Rehearsals Tech and dress rehearsals are incredible important. Please refer to the schedule and make sure your cast members is on time. Dress rehearsals start at 5:00pm. Please note that tech and dress rehearsals are closed to parents/friends/family. Fun Lunches Fun lunch packages are a service we provide of catering an allergy safe meal. This covers school day shows, both Saturday shows & strike.
Dress/Show Dates Please triple check all dress rehearsals and shows, as times vary. Also note that there is one day of school daytime performances on March 1st. There are NO absences allowed during these times.
Cast Party All cast, crew members, and family are invited to attend the cast party, traditionally held on the second Saturday of the run of the show. Attendees pay $10 or $40 per family. Parents of cast and crew members in the fourth grade or younger are asked to attend with their child. The cast party is the second Saturday after the last show.
“Run of Show” Regardless of committee, we ask that all parents be available to help during “run of show”. We of COURSE want you to see the show (and more than once if you want!) however we also need to staff front of house, green room, and many other committees. Please plan to be available and work during show dates.
Strike Following the final performance of the production, the cast and crew “strike” the set and prepare the theatre for its next production. All cast members are required to be present for strike. Participation of parents of cast members help make the event go smoothly and more quickly. Parents are welcome to help, but not do jobs for their child. cast/crew dismissed when strike is completed and/or Tech Director releases students. Anticipated time of dismissal: 3-4 hours after end of show.
