DORNEY INFORMATION

May 25th, 2012 Murray Avenue Middle School Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Jazz Band

Itinerary –

7:25 AM – Report to MAS Chorus Room dressed for performance. Load buses. You should be dressed for the competition: New T-Shirts, Blue jean shorts or jeans. SHORTS MUST BE APPROPRIATE LENGTH (at least to your fingertips). If your clothes do not comply with school dress code, you will not perform. If you wear jeans, you may bring shorts to change into after the performance. Footwear: Whatever you will wear in the park. Bring a bag lunch or snack and money for food and drink purchases, ($20). Bring a cell phone or mp3 player if you like. You are responsible for your equipment. Sunscreen may be advisable, given the forecast. The Waterpark is not open. 7:45 AM - Buses leave Murray Ave School. 9:30 AM - Arrive at: Fleetwood HS 803 North Richmond St. Fleetwood , PA 19522 Band performs. 10:30 AM – Leave Fleetwood HS and go to: Kutztown High School 50 Trexler Avenue Kutztown, PA 19530 Jazz Band and Orchestra perform. Following Orchestra performance - Board buses and head to: Kutztown University Main St. Kutztown, PA 19530 Chorus performs. Following the Chorus performance, board buses and head to: Dorney Park 3830 Dorney Park Rd. Allentown, PA 18104 Ride the rides. Stay with your “buddy” ALL THE TIME.  In case of illness or EMERGENCY – Go to Dorney Park Amusement Park First Aid. It is located next to the Good Time Gifts near the Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom entrance. They will contact us immediately. Please look for this spot when you enter the park, just in case you or your buddy needs to use this service later.

6:15 PM – Meet at the Food Fest Grove for the Awards Ceremony. *Check in with your chaperone. Following the AWARDS CEREMONY, head directly to the exit and go to your bus. After attendance, leave by 7:15 PM.

8:30 PM – Arrive in Lower Moreland: Murray Ave School 2551 Murray Avenue School Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006

*Do not be late in checking in with your chaperone. If you are late, you will receive detentions.
