Our Inquiry Unit this term is 'Look What's Happening In Our Own Backyard' with the concept dealing with the application of Social Justice. The Rationale behind the unit is that by looking at ways in which we are fair and unfair in our society we can become more aware of the importance of social justice for all.. During the unit, we will investigate the following: * Social justice for those with disabilities. * Social justice for the financially disadvantaged. * Rules and laws surrounding social justice. There are no planned excursions for this term as we will be busy with Production rehearsals.

The Premiers Reading Challenge will end about mid-August. Please notify your child’s teacher when all their reading books have been entered on the PRC website; their teacher will then ‘VERIFY’ the list. We thank you for your support this year, there has been a terrific participation level from Chelsea Primary School in this year’s Challenge. If you’ve lost your login details, let us know, we have all the details.

Production rehearsals will soon be underway and you will receive a letter in due course from your child’s teacher regarding costumes, props etc. We would appreciate any help you can offer.
