Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Seminary: VI Annual Gala Dinner

The Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary is pleased to announce its Sixth Annual Gala Dinner, to be held on June 14, 2015, at 5PM, at Four Points by Sheraton, Norwood. This year’s honorees are Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University, and John A. Zofchak, the Founder and President of Boston Salads. For information, to reserve seats at the dinner, or to buy space in the Ad Journal, please call 617-879-9813 or email [email protected]. You may also register online at www.rmsboston.org. The gala dinner is our seminary’s main yearly fundraising event. Please help us either by attending the dinner or by making a contribution to our seminary. Your help is a tangible sign of your love for priests and of your work in the New Evangelization of the Church.

Pastoral Planning

May 24 ~ Pentecost Sunday The birthday of the Church! After receiving the Holy Spirit the apostles spoke of the “mighty deeds of God.” Each of us has experienced mighty deeds: the birth of a child, passing a difficult test, getting a job, attending a peaceful, happy death – these can be mighty deeds of God in a person’s life. Do you have the courage to speak of this to others? The Holy Spirit gives each of special Gifts, including courage and wonder in the Lord. Unwrap the gifts, put them to good use, and renew the face of the earth.

May 31 ~ The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Here it is – we’ve been commissioned, right along with the disciples. Go. Baptize. Teach. All imperatives. Equally important – perhaps even more important – is the last line: “…. I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Evangelization is the work of the whole Church – and we’re not alone. He is with us ALWAYS.
