Associate Member Contract of Commitment

As stated in the Constitution, as a Leadership Development Program (LDP) Associate Member, I will assist facilitators in providing on-going leadership training for students and organizations. I am aware that the position of Associate Member requires that I assist in the planning and implementation of various components of LDP along with other facilitators, associate members, and professional staff.

My responsibilities will include:  Attending one general body meeting weekly, held on Thursdays at 8pm  Sitting on at least one committee and helping other committees when necessary  Attending at least one leadership training session  Acting as liaisons to TCNJ organizations  Participating in fund-raising opportunities  Participating in any advertising and promotions of LDP and its activities

My abilities are as follows:  Attending all LDP events  Receiving training  Sitting office hours each week  Voting during meetings  Assisting Facilitators in planning and creating workshops  Applying for Facilitator during recruitment

Attendance Policy is as follows:  Arriving 10 minutes after the start of any meeting is considered late.  2 lates = 1 absence  After 2 absences, you will receive a letter and the Executive Board will review your Associate Member status.  In the event that you have prior knowledge that you are unable to attend a Thursday meeting, and you think the absence is excusable, please notify the VP of Administration by email before 5pm on the Wednesday prior to the meeting.

I understand that if I am unable to fulfill the above listed responsibilities, I will be asked to become an inactive Associate Member. In addition, failing to meet those responsibilities and/or acting in a manner that is inconsistent with LDP’s goals, values, and mission statement may result in impeachment proceedings against me.
