Ledbury Hunt Pony Club Postal Shoot

AREA 9 TETRATHLON POSTAL SHOOT 2017/18

A great opportunity to keep up your shooting skills and to practice competition conditions during winter training.

Classes

1. Tadpole Boys & Girls. 8 & 9 years. 7 metres. 2 hands

2. Mini Boys & Girls. Under 12 years 7 metres. 2 hands

3. Junior Boys & Girls. Under 15 years. 7 metres. 1 hand

4. Senior Boys & Girls. Under 26 years 10 metres. 1 hand

5. Adult Adults. 26 years and over. 10 metres. 1 hand

Teams In addition to the Individual competition, teams can be made up from 3 or 4 members (any gender and/or Class) from the same Pony Club. The best 3 scores will be counted. There is no limit on the number of teams entered.

All ages as at 1st January 2018 (ie you must shoot in the higher class throughout the competition)

The competition will run for 4 months – November 2017 to February 2018. Each competitor to shoot 2 targets of 5 shots each per month. On receipt of your entries, named targets will be sent to you. They should be returned to Fred Church by the end of the following month i.e. November targets returned by the end of December. Please check the targets and write the scores on the back.

Any targets not returned by the end of Mar 18 will not be counted.

Static or turning targets may be used.

Targets should preferably be shot at Branch practice, but it is acceptable to shoot them at home or other venues.

In the event of tied scores, positions will be determined by the number of bulls scored across all targets.

Results will be posted monthly on the Area 9 website and circulated to Team Managers.

Rosettes for the first 6 individuals in each class. Girls and Boys will have separate individual rosettes in classes of over 20.

Rosettes for the top 10 teams.

Gun case stickers for every 1000 shoot.

Entry fee: £7 per person; £5 for second and subsequent family members; £2 per team.

Cheques should be made payable to "The Pony Club Area 9 Tetrathlon Committee".
