ISSUE BEFORE THE BOARD: Determining membership on board subcommittees and work groups.

BACKGROUND: Board Policy #101 states that the board chair may form subcommittees and workgroups on issues before the board, to make more efficient use of meeting time. At this time, staff has not identified a topic that needs a subcommittee with the exception of the Joint Boards Unified Education Enterprise Committee.

Jerry Berger and Nikki Squire are no longer on the board, so positions they held will need to be updated.

The UEE exists until January 1, 2012.
