Developed for the Australian Professional Pest market and manufactured by Sherwood Chemicals, the Chaindrite Extra Strength Crawling Insect spray has built an outstanding reputation as a cost effective flushing tool for pest managers.

“There are reasons as why older aerosol products are withdrawn from the market, which may include poor sales or poor safety or a combination of these two reasons which results in an unacceptable risk. As a formulator it is our role to develop and formulate products for the industry users that have improved safety and performance, the idea to incorporate older more toxic active ingredients that have had support withdrawn by the multinational that developed the product is unquestionable and is not something as a company we could accept.” Said John Ralph, Sherwood Chemicals Australian General Manager.

“As a result of feedback from a number of PCO’s who are not only quality conscious but equally concerned about costs, our in-house development team have worked on improving the convenience and product odour on what was already a great product”. Explained John. “The new features include a low odour formulation, 360 degree ball valve to allow spraying at any angle and the attachment of the nozzle to the cap to make it more convenient and less time consuming to use.” He said.

These types of changes are rarely completed for small volume markets such as professional pest, however as a formulator we this ability to make small changes to products based on feedback that can add value to Professionals.
