Corporate Conditions for Hiring the Rooms in the Resource Centre

It Is Your Responsibility to Read and Agree the Conditions of Hire and Sign the Agreement Below.

1. The rooms will only be available between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

2. The hirer will be expected to arrange the furniture layout themselves, and clear away at the end of the session.

3. Tea & coffee is available, the hirer will provide all other refreshments.

4. At the time of booking, all rooms required and number of people attending must be stated. The maximum, including the facilitators, is 25 people and we reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone once this number has been reached.

5. For our records we require each individual visitor’s name to be stated in the Visitors Book in the main Reception area, rather than a group name. This is to ensure we know at any time who is in the building.

6. At the end of your event you will be expected to leave the premises clean and tidy. If not the Sunrise Centre will arrange for cleaning to be undertaken and you will be charged the full cost.

7. If any damage is caused to the premises, or if any contents owned by the Sunrise Children’s Centre are damaged you will be asked to replace them, or be charged to replace them.

8. The Sunrise Centre does not have a licence for the sale/consumption of alcohol and therefore alcoholic drinks may not be sold or consumed on these premises.

9. The Sunrise Centre has a no smoking policy throughout the building, it is therefore the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that no members of their group or party smoke within the building. When smoking outside the building, ensure that the smoking designated area (under the minibus port) and cigarette bins are used. Please do not leave cigarette debris on the ground, and ask that smokers are sensitive to other users on site.

10. It is the hirers’ responsibility to ensure that your group are made aware of their nearest escape route in the event of a fire alarm sounding and of associated procedures.

11. All fire exit doors shall be kept free from obstruction (by furniture or equipment etc) and available for immediate use in the event of an emergency.

12. The Sunrise Centre shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused to or sustained by any person arising out of or in connection with the hire agreement.

13. Delegates will not be admitted to the centre by Sunrise staff until the facilitator has arrived.

14. Car parking is permitted outside the Sunrise Centre but NOT directly outside Meadows School. Please note spaces are limited; however, there is ample free parking on the Common across the main road.

15. Failure to adhere to any of the points above will affect any future bookings.

The rooms will only be available between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Please allow time either side of your event for setting up and clearing away within these times.
