BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

RE: RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT ) FOR PUBLIC DEFENDER INDIGENT ) RESOLUTION NO. 14-_____ DEFENSE SERVICES BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY ) AND JOELY O'ROURKE, DEFENDER FOR THE DAY )

WHEREAS, Lewis County is committed to meeting the requirements as set down by the State of Washington for Indigent Defense; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County recognizes that to meet such expectations a specific contract will be necessary; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of Lewis County to approve the Lewis County Public Defender Indigent Defense Contract (Public Defender of the Day).

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Lewis County Public Defender Contract attached hereto and incorporated herein.
