A message from Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County Ready for Learning, Ready for Life ______

Dear Providers,

Most of you are familiar with the Office of Early Learning’s (OEL) Family Portal where parents register for VPK and School Readiness services using an online application. Now, the ELC is happy to announce the next phase of the Statewide Portal, the OEL Provider Portal, where providers will ultimately have all of the functionality of the OPS system, plus a lot more.

The OPS system was intended to be a temporary stepping stone to the OEL Provider Portal so that we could experience online attendance processing and communications between providers and ELC staff before those functions were available in the OEL Provider Portal. Please note, we will continue to use OPS for online attendance/reimbursement for now, but will soon have online attendance available on the OEL Provider Portal. There will be a short transition period where we will access both systems. Ultimately, there will only be one portal for families, providers and coalitions. How exciting is that! This will redefine how Coalitions across the state will serve families and providers.

The full transition to the OEL Provider Portal will happen in phases, and we will guide you every step of the way. Phase 1 is available for you now.

Phase 1:  Login registration- must have a provider ID (EIN) and a license number  Verify or enter basic information, such as address, contact info, email, etc.  ELC staff will activate your account within 2-3 business days  Once the account is activated by ELC staff, you will need to log back in to complete your entire provider profile (which will be pre-populated in the future SR and/or VPK contracts)

Entire Phase 1 must be completed by March 22 nd , 2017.

Phase 2, which will be available in approximately 4 weeks. The information entered during this phase will pre-populate in any future SR and/or VPK contracts for the upcoming 2017-2018 year. This means you will already have a part of your contract entered once Phase 2 is complete! More information will be coming soon regarding your options for SR and or VPK contract submissions.

Phase 3, targeted for later this summer will provide significant functionality including online attendance processing, messaging, credential tracking, ASQ tracking and more. Once this phase is implemented, we will ‘retire’ the OPS system as all functionality will be available on the OEL Provider Portal!

Let’s get started! You may proceed to register for the OEL Provider Portal by following this link, https://providerservices.floridaearlylearning.com/Account/Login . Save this link to your favorites. You will need a Provider ID and a License number. A User Guide is attached to assist you. For questions, please email [email protected]

We appreciate your patience as we transition in the next months and look forward to working together to better serve our families!

Thank you, ELC Team
