GETTING STARTED WITH PARENTVUE

ParentVUE is a website that offers secure, private access to student information, including current and historical grades and attendance data. Parents have one login and students have a separate login.

▶ To create an account, please follow these instructions and refer to the Activation Key on the reverse side.

First Time Access: Create an Account PleasePlease skip skip this section if you already created an account last year. 1. Please go to the Union Catholic website and under the Academics tab, select Student Online Grades. 2. Click I am a parent.

3. Select I have an activation key and need to create my account.

4. Read the Privacy Statement and click I Accept.

5. Enter your name and activation key exactly as they appear in the activation key found on the reverse side of this page and click Continue to Step 3.

6. Choose a user name and password (at least 6 characters), provide an email address, and click Complete Account Activation.

1. Go to the Union Catholic website and under the Academics tab, select Student Online Grades. 2. Click I am a parent.

3. Enter your user name and password, and click Login.

______ To view days on which the student was absent or late to school, click on the Attendance link on the Navigation bar.

 The Report Card view contains the information found on the student’s progress report or report card including the student’s courses, teachers, marks and comments. There is a grade legend at the bottom of the view. This information will be posted at the end of the given term.

 The Grade Book view contains the student’s running average in each course. To monitor grades on individual assignments and assessments click on the course title and the grading details will display. Please note, these are not the official grades. Official grades are mailed home on the report card at the end of the reporting period. Grades for assessments/assignments will be posted within one week of the due date. This feature will open beginning on Monday, 9/21/15.

 The Course History view represents courses completed, grades earned and credits accrued in prior years.
