Today Agfa’s portfolio of inkjet solutions provides a wide spectrum of capabilities that extend beyond traditional sign and display applications. Building on this platform, the :Anapurna M2 is designed with several new automated features that increases productivity and enable it to print at faster speeds. This includes a powerful fastscan motor driving a shuttle with 6 state of the art Konica Minolta printheads at 1024 nozzles each. Moreover, the system has a unique vacuum strength-control system designed for smooth substrate transport at high speeds. Also important, shuttle safety sensors protect the print heads allowing for variable substrate height and an ionizing bar that prevents electro-static loads on the substrate, which ensures optimum ink droplet positioning for the highest print quality delivery. The :Anapurna M2 maximum media width is 63 inches. Media loading is easy as it uses automated media registration bars and head height adjustment for both roll-to-roll and rigid media. In combination with the Agfa UV- curable :Anapurna ink, the :Anapurna M2 is a high quality system and a sound investment.

Agfa will also be demonstrating the following inkjet solutions in Booth #3953 at ISA Sign Expo 2009:  :Anapurna M4f -- The :Anapurna M4f is a four-color, flatbed, wide format industrial inkjet printer designed for printing high quality POP, displays, posters, exhibition panels, stage graphics, ad panels and more. With a print resolution of 720x1440 dpi, the M4f prints on a large variety of media up to 63 inches wide. The optional roll-to-roll unit adds additional versatility. The M4f delivers exceptional results for indoor and outdoor applications on uncoated rigid media, such as corrugated boards, rigid plastics, exhibition panels, stage graphics and advertising panels, as well as roll media such as film, vinyl and paper, canvas and banners.
