Every Day Counts! Give your child the best possible chance in life!

Dear Parents and Caregivers

We have had a very positive, start to the year. Students and staff are working diligently in their learning, supporting and teaching, however, it would have been far more rewarding if the students who indicated they were enrolling in our school, had actually turned up. However, we have wonderful students and staff.

School improvement is everyone’s business and we need your ideas, on how we can improve our school. Please come and see us and share your thoughts.

The Prep class with Miss Papworth as their teacher, is learning a new strategy with their learning. Please arrange a time to discuss this strategy, with your child’s teacher.

In the near future, we will invite all parents and students to our annual Open Evening , where you will be able to meet your child’s teacher, if you not already done so and discuss with them, their ideas and strategy for the year. It is important that parents, teachers and students are on the same page for the teaching and learning, but also for the forward progress for our school.

Our uniform is a very distinctive one and all students are expected to wear it with pride. Students are expected to have their shirts tucked in, their hats on when outside and joggers and socks. Jewellery is limited to stud earrings and a watch. Please ensure that your child is meeting these requirements.

Absences: In line with the “Every Day Counts,” Strategy, students are expected to attend school every day, unless they are sick. This gives students the best possible chance of succeeding in their education.
