POSITION DETAILS Job Type: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent Level: 4 or 5 Location: Frankfurt Start date: ASAP

POSITION PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will help support the Transportation team in its mission to provide a high level of research quality to its clients, through the development of responsible investment and sustainability related research products.  Establish yourself as an ESG expert and an Industry Lead for companies in the Transportation industry (Automobiles, Auto Components, Transportation, Transportation Infrastructure, Aerospace & Defense)  Analyze the ESG performance of high-profile companies to be published in the Sustainalytics Platform  Contribute to mentoring and training of junior industry analysts  Ensure quality of research utilizing industry-specific knowledge and expertise  Participate in client-specific projects  Respond to industry or company-specific inquiries from investors  Build and maintain strong relations with companies, external networks and content specialists  Participate in platform innovation processes (e.g. developing and testing new ESG rating methodologies)  Contribute to the development of intellectual capital and thought leadership through report-writing and public-facing activities © Sustainalytics 2014

QUALIFICATIONS  Master’s degree in related discipline (business, finance, economics and/or environment);  Excellent oral and written English language skills (working language is English);  Solid knowledge and understanding of the Transportation industry and the SRI/RI market;  Strong research and analytical skills;  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including persuasive writing and public speaking;  Experience in writing independent research / thought leadership pieces;  Client focused;  Demonstrated passion for sustainability;  Resourceful and independent; and  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
