Chainie Worrall Adult Equestrian Camp - Activity packed weekend camp

The camp is designed for all riders from beginners to competition level or horses of all levels, green to advanced, to come on a residential holiday for the weekend.

Enjoy your time away with your horse and friends, or maybe make new friends, while enjoying the opportunity to participate, or have a go, at some equestrian activities. From flat work through to cross country with no pressure at all, the training offered is supplied in small groups, tailored made, so the groups may vary throughout the disciplines. Individual one to one sessions can be arranged if required.

This allows the most nervous to the most confident, be it horse or rider, to enjoy their time in a relaxed and supportive environment whilst being gently pushed to achieve their best, with a big fat smile.

The location has great facilities, from a big indoor arena, outdoor school, outdoor grass show jumping area, through to a cross country course, which has a vast array of cross country fences ranging from 50cm to 1.20 m with a water complex. The cross country course whilst ideal for the more confident rider also offers up a variety of opportunities and experiences for the more nervous horse or rider with a secured field with smaller fences to start you.

Stabling with bedding, indoor toilets & showers are all available. Camp in you lorry, trailer or tent. Bring plenty of bedding (I have found a blanket between air bed and sleeping bag is a brilliant idea). Clothing for all weathers and sun cream of course. Sorry no electric hook up available.

Camp starts on Friday the 1st September 2017 where access will be given from midday for a welcome meeting at 1pm. Coffee /tea and homemade cake will be available and the first group ready to ride at 2pm. Riding times for Friday afternoon will be allocated prior to arrival.

The groups for Friday afternoon will be arranged after I have spoken to all the riders over the phone to ensure that the groups are suited for people/ horse’s needs. The first session to be flatwork in the indoor arena.

Evening stables will be concluded and dinner will be served. Now is your opportunity to have that well deserved drink, discuss the afternoon and achievements, plan for the morning and just have fun. Groups will be arranged dependent on peoples/horses wants and needs but ideally will focus on pole work / show jumping. Saturday morning after completing morning stables we will enjoy full cooked English breakfast to soak up the alcohol for those who indulged the night before. Then start the group sessions at about 8:30 am on Pole work/show jumping.

After lunch and discussions of the morning session the afternoon cross country groups will be arranged and start around 2 pm. Alternatively other disciplines can be revisited the next day or later in the afternoon if required.

Again evening stables will be concluded and another delicious dinner will be served. Now is your opportunity to have that well deserved drink, discuss the day and achievements, plan for the morning and just have fun for a second nigh or just chill in the club house. Groups will be arranged dependent on peoples/horses wants and needs again deciding if you want to visit the cross country course again which is very popular or work on another area of your choosing .

Sunday Am Morning stables to be completed and Breakfast to fill the empty bellies and soak up any alcohol to start the Morning and final session which will have been arranged night before to complete the camp.
