2018 Hoosier State Relays Trials Hosted by West Lafayette High School Thursday, March 8, 2018 @ 5:00 PM (EST), Lambert Fieldhouse, Purdue University

West Lafayette High School Track & Field is hosting the Thursday, March 8 qualifying session for the Hoosier State Relays at Purdue’s Lambert Fieldhouse. The session will be starting at 5:00 PM and will not have a limit of individual entries or Relay entries per team. Entry fees are $5 per individual and $15 per Relay. Contracts are required to secure a spot by February 19th (unless the field is full) and fees will be calculated as of Sunday, March 4 at 11:59 PM. Each team will owe what is reflected at that time and fees are due (with school check made out to West Lafayette Athletic Department) when arriving on Thursday for the meet. If an entered athlete becomes unavailable, simply “sub in” for that athlete since you are required to pay for that “spot” as of Midnight, March 4. We may close events as they become full!

Special Note on PV Entries: Each team will be allowed to enter ONE pole vaulter at $5 per entry. Any additional vault entries are $10 per entry.

Opening heights: PV 7-6 (Girls) and 10-6 (Boys) HJ 5-7 (Boys) then 4-8 (Girls) Minimum measure: LJ 13-0 (Girls) and 17-0 (Boys) Shot 40-0 (Boys) then 28-0 (Girls) (Please consider these performance marks when entering athletes) (Please note that the LJ board is 13 feet from the sand)

Your team must be able to arrive in time to begin competition at 5:00 PM.

Field events will be conducted until each athlete is eliminated. The top 24 (statewide) in track events, Long Jump & Shot Put and top 18 in HJ and Pole Vault will be allowed to compete at the HSR Finals at Indiana University on Saturday, March 24th, 2018. As part of the entry procedure for Direct Athletics you must enter a roster, in addition to individual entries (unlimited) and Relays (unlimited) with subs coming from the listed roster ONLY. Entry fees are calculated according to entries at the close of registration, Sunday, March 4 at 11:59 PM. Team packets and meet programs will be emailed. Checks should be made out to West Lafayette Athletic Department.

Dick Pond Athletics will once again be on hand to sell athletic wear. T-shirts may also be available at $12 per shirt.

West Lafayette High School IHSAA Meet Contract

We the undersigned mutually agree to schedule and fulfill the obligation to participate in the following event(s):
