Welcome to the Thrive family! I am certain that it is after careful consideration and years of frustration with traditional dieting that you have found your way to Thrive Weight Loss. Thrive is not a diet, but is a practical sustainable lifestyle that works! Thrive works for everyone regardless of age, gender, or history. Thrive is also fun to live with! We do not go without great tasting food here. There is an old saying about losing weight that I find funny. “If it tastes good then spit it out!” ~ Unknown. With Thrive this couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only will you will enjoy great tasting foods that help you lose weight, we will also teach you how you can eat anything you want 100 days each year!

Unlike other weight loss programs, we guarantee your results. While others shy away from putting it out there, we know that you will succeed if you decide and commit to our program. We know that we can help you be successful like the thousands of clients that have gone before you. Listen, if you attend class and journal while making a best effort to apply the information to your daily life, you will be successful beyond your wildest dreams and you’ll find that Thrive is as much an internal transformation as it is external.

We pride ourselves on being a family. Thrive is a supportive community of like- minded people trying to live a healthy lifestyle in the midst of an environment that is not the most supportive. The typical environment that you live in does not have your health and self-esteem in mind! In fact, without knowledge and inspiration the environment you now live in can rob you of everything dear to you. Today, you have made a decision to change that environment. We welcome you to our family, the Thrive family. The problem of obesity in our country has hit epidemic proportions. Not only is obesity the leading cause of almost every disease known to human kind, including cancer and heart disease, it is also a main contributor of depression and low self- esteem and no one seems to have found a solution. Thrive has found a solution! Let me restate that.

Thrive is THE solution. The Thrive program is easy and fun to learn. It deprives you of nothing and in fact helps you manage day-to-day feelings, decisions, and challenges that we all have. You will overcome obstacles that stopped you in the past by changing habits and behaviors that before would have led you astray, but not anymore! You will need help from our Thrive Community and Thrive Consultants in the beginning of your journey. If you are like me, you will want to continue to be part of this family called Thrive long after you have completed this 7-week course.

This program will not only help you lose the weight you want, but will change your life. Forever.

Thrive Points System Our Thrive points system allows you to focus on more than just the number on the scales. Our studies show that Thrivers with the best results share similar and consistent activities. How can you get the best results? We have taken the guesswork out for you by providing a system that awards points for activities that ensure your success!

We try to make everything fun and practical! Upon entering the program you are given a Thrive points card. You earn points for class attendance, having a scheduled assessment, completing a weekly journal, healthy product purchases, and losing weight.

Focusing on earning Thrive points helps you maintain momentum even when life gets in the way!

There are 30, 60, 90, and 120 point cards. At each achievement level you will receive recognition, small rewards, and most importantly you will be forming good and lasting habits that will not only help you get the weight off, but keep the weight off.

Once you have earned 120 points you will receive a Free T Shirt and I’ll bet its at least 2 sizes smaller than when you started the program! Enjoy the Thrive points system.

Rules for the Thrive journey in Week I

Thrive is a complete educational and lifestyle program designed to help you lose weight in an ever evolving environment. It takes at least 7 weeks to learn the basics of the program. Please ensure that a Thrive Staff member signs off as you complete each component of Level I. You may even want to take Level I more than once in order to have a firm grasp on the foundational material. We give you 1 week of meal ideas each week for 7 weeks. Please do not hand these out to friends and family who aren’t getting the needed “how to” in class. Also, what works in the beginning won’t work over the long haul. You need to learn the content and learn how to use the information as you progress toward your goal. Thrive begins by teaching everyone the same foundational material, but along with your coach and depending on your goals your Thrive lifestyle will evolve and build from your foundation.

As you get started with week 1 remember that you can do anything for 1 week at a time! The variety you are allowed will increase weekly.

The first week: Attendance

Attendance is imperative. When you think you know it all, you don’t. Your Level 1 program consists of 7 weeks of lesson plans.

Timing and Daily Meal allowances:

Everyone eats 3 meals each day. Please space your meals 4-6 hours apart. Men you get up to 2 snacks each day. Ladies you get up to 1 snack each day.

Both men and women can have freebies.

Portions: Everyone eats their meal from a 6-8” Plate or uses the hand rule.

Combinations:

Until you have mastered correct food combining make selections from the Meal ideas listed.

Journal:

If you bite it you write it! Finally, write why you bit it.

Water: Drink ½ -1 Gallon of Water Daily Supplements: Take Coreplex Chewable or Coreplex Tablets Daily
