MINUTES OF CANORA TOWN COUNCIL MEETING September 1, 2015
A regular meeting of Canora Town Council was held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Canora Town Council Chambers. In attendance were Mayor Gina Rakochy, Councillors Matthew Nehaj, Cory O’Dell, Gerald Wolkowski, James Trofimenkoff and Syl Hrynkiw. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer Michael Mykytyshyn, Community Development Officer Jo-Anne Sigurdson and Leisure Services Director Chelsey Exner. Councillor Brad Gabora was absent. Mayor Gina Rakochy called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

DELEGATION Val Morozoff, Donna McCormick, Andrea Barteski and Ken Wasyliw of the Canora and District Health Foundation met with council to discuss funding for the Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) at Canora Hospital.
Leisure Services Director Chelsey Exner left the meeting at 7:35 p.m.
Community Development Officer Jo-Anne Sigurdson left the meeting at 7:39 p.m.
15-220 CEC PROJECT FUNDING O’Dell That council contribute $106,662.00 toward the total cost of the new Hrynkiw Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) project at Canora Hospital.

15-221 SUMA REGIONAL MEETING Wolkowski That council authorize all of council to attend the Saskatchewan Urban Trofimenkoff Municipalities Association (SUMA) fall regional meeting to be held September 29, 2015 in Yorkton, Sask., expenses to be reimbursed by the Town. Carried
15-222 UMAAS FINANCIAL WORKSHOP Nehaj That council authorize Chief Administrative Officer Michael Mykytyshyn to Hrynkiw attend the Municipal Financial and Year End Accounting Workshop to be held October 22, 2015 in Yorkton, Sask., expenses to be reimbursed by the Town. Carried
