Recently, she has taken senior 32 status with both the Lexington Garden Club and the Country Club 33 of Lexington; and 34 35 Whereas, Mrs. Jodie, affectionately known to her family as “Mama 36 Ann,” holds that all citizens should contribute to the welfare of 37 their respective communities, and she sets an example in this area 38 that is worthy of emulation. In serving and dedicating time to 39 family and friends, she greets patrons at a familyowned restaurant, 40 assists a friend who owns a ladies’ apparel store, and directs 41 weddings. She also organizes golf outings, special occasions, and 42 culinary events. She serves on various committees and sings in the

[3960] 2 1 choir at her beloved St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. 2 Further, she is a blueribbon gardener. In short, she can leave most 3 people in the dust while energetically getting things done; and 4 5 Whereas, to honor her at this very special time in her life, family 6 and friends will join with this loving wife, devoted mother, and 7 doting grandmother and greatgrandmother to celebrate the 8 eightieth anniversary of the day she entered this world, April 15, 9 2015.
