Golf Facilities 18 hole course, par 72, designed by Langford A beautiful tree lined course that has recently been renovated along with the pro shop. The long standing, well respected golf pro is available for individual lessons.
Tennis Facilities 6 outdoor lighted Har-Tru courts There are 6 beautiful, well maintained tennis courts. A seasonal tennis pro offers group lessons, clinics and a variety of junior activities
Swimming Facilities 1 Outdoor There is a junior olympic pool with separate kiddie play facilities and jacuzzi that is enjoyed by the membership. A large patio/deck, snack bar and locker rooms are conveniently located. Aquatics manager and assitants offer lessons.

Both overlook the golf course and are adjacent to a 300 seat ballroom. The lower level has a 100 seat member grill for casual dining and is adjacent to a pool side terrace.
Special Club Features
Bryn Mawr Country Club is member owned and is located 20 minutes from downtown Chicago. The club is open year round except for a 10 week closing during the winter. Lunch and dinner hours are reduced between the fall and spring season. While there are 200 regular full time members that number grows to 275 when social, junior and other categories are added in. Club is open 6 days per week, 9 months per year.

Job Title General Manager
Brief Job Description
The role of the GM will require a very hands on approach. The candidate should have very strong culinary skills and be able to work with our excellent Chef of 6 years. He or she will report to the President and Board of Directors on all matters of food, beverage, golf, tennis and pool, in addition to financial and human resource issues. Member service will be of paramount importance. The ability to spend quality time training staff will be an ongoing challenge, since many positions are seasonal and part time.
Candidate Qualifications
Potential candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years as a GM or Club Manager. He or she will have strong communication skills as it relates to both member and staff. Strong financial acumen, ability to track capital and operating budgets and a stable job history is a must.
Educational Requirements
A degree in hospitality management or a related field.
