The Cerner EMR is set to “go live” at Westmoreland Hospital on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. In preparation for the EMR implementation, as previously communicated, the Westmoreland Hospital medical staff members will be required to attend two – four hour training sessions. Sessions will be held weekdays beginning Wednesday, January 16th through Tuesday, March 19th. Separate sessions will be offered for a few of the specialties (see below and attached calendars). Upon completion of both sessions, physicians will be provided with an iPad2 and CME credits.

If you have previously attended the EMR training for Latrobe and Frick Hospitals, you do not need to schedule UNLESS you have not had the opportunity to use HERO at Latrobe and Frick.
