1. Muslim Student Association  Request for cooking night - $250 after the 19th  Motion to fund: 5,0,0 2. Computer Science Club (rep by Henry and Thais)  Have event (java hacking) – need publicity  Motion to fund: 5,0,0 3. Amherst College Republican and APU (rep by Robert and Terry)  Want to bring Dinesh D’souza to campus to speak (advisor to Reagan and director)  $3000 – Rep, $4000 – APU – remaining honorarium  Want to show his movie at Amherst also (w Amherst Flics – maybe a preview?)  Will go to cab for food and publicity  Already have cosponsorship from young America foundation (at least $3000)  How much is honorarium - $10000 total  Motion to fund: 5,0,0 4. APU (rep by Terry)  2nd event (Steven Olikara) – transportation costs differing now – either car in Boston, getting a shuttle from here to Bradley then renting a car  Fight costs higher than anticipated – flights $500 (ie $100 more)  Will meet with biddy a day earlier, so rental car is $900 (if shuttle from here to Boston, would be $700)  David - Why is there a change? – not a round trip (2 diff airports – DC to Boston to Amherst to Hartford to DC), needs to come in a day earlier  Don’t need staffer anymore cause will have a student videographer  Motion to fund: 6,0,0 5. Pride Alliance (rep by Michael)  Apr 18 – 2 performers for their drag shows  Need 2 night booking for 2 rooms (min 2 nights) – need 640  Also need an honorarium – 5400 for both of them  David – cosponsorship? With women and genders center  500 for travel  Karen – do you know the breakdown? No – booked them together  Both have been on Rupal’s drag race  Should ½ then seek cosponsorship and come back  Have publicity covered  Hao – where are they coming from? Not sure  Motion to fund w ½ honorarium and table the transportation: 6,0,0 6. Amnesty International (rep by Marie)  For registration and hotel for their conference about human rights in NY– 10 ppl interested but only 2 could go  Publicized to entire list serve  Hotel for 2 nights (conference is on Sat but need to get there on Fri bc of bus times) - $300  Registration for 2 ppl - $18  Funding from Dean Fatemi for bus tickets  Motion to fund: 6,0,0 7. Women of Amherst (rep by Kat)  For vagina monologues – all things were funding in club budgets except for the pizza dinner (maybe?) and baking supplies  Baking supplies are giveaway  Allocated through club budget 8. Men’s Ultimate Frisbee (rep by Karen)  Hotel for team for a tournament next weekend  Want 5 rooms for 24 people (more than 4 people per room) - $750  Motion to fund: 6,0,0 9. Outing Club (rep by Hao)  Want $199 emergency funds for climbing fees (already had $1600 in club budgets, but ran out and need more for the weekend)  Increase in climbing popularity, so have run out of funds now ($10 per person, don’t set cap)  Motion to emergency fund: 6,0,0
