Q&A: Stewart from the general public  “My question is in regard to campus food and dining. The poli- cy has changed with what you can and cannot order at locations at the Silver Line diner and The grille. Management has not changed so I was wondering why the change? Are you just testing it out or is this permanent? Why the change?” Steve Potter  “We are always trying to improve our Hospitability team by adding things. We try ear- ly on in the year to try to see what is working and what is not working. If there is an item that you would like to see again, you can always meet with me to discuss the changes and what can be done to make the community happier. We are always trying to change to stay out of the status quo” Stewart  I don’t want to go too far here, I was just wondering if the changes were made for financial reasons or just for change?

Jessie Giaqunto: Junior Class Representative  “I want to preference that I love food and that the food here is amazing. I just want to say that a few days ago, me and my SGA friends went to the Grille and the poor guy said there he was not allowed to make a wrap unless it was a chicken wrap and that is hard for students who are vegetarians or don’t eat bread.

Steve Potter  “I think I can fix that ASAP, that was easy”

Caleb  Publicity Chair for SGA “I was just wondering if there would be anymore facilities being built for more performance groups, speakers or anything of that sort. I don’t want groups to have to fight for space. Chris Dudley We have many new large classrooms coming into the new Student Success Building as well as in the School of Health Sciences will have a venue as large or larger than the room we are in now. Along north avenue there is potential for a new theatre next to the coming Centennial Square two. Sydney: General Public  She complimented the hospitality services. “I noticed that there are not enough recycling bins around campus within our food services – for instance the café and the point do not have areas for employees to recycle during their shifts. We have recycled cups and sort so I think it would be important for there to be more recycling options on campus” “Also, I tried to take my mom to the Café on Sunday and they told me that I would be able to use a global meal and she would have to use a magic meal, that I would not be able to use two global meals in one time. I am just wondering why I can’t use two global meals at one time when I have prepaid for them” Steve Potter  “I will have to look into that and get back to you regarding that issue”

Alex Nelson: Senior Class President:  “Curious as to how we came to the specific style of housing for Centennial Square Two: Steve Potter:  We met both formally and informally with students, and Gail can attest to the de- mand for certain student housing. The site on which we had to build and the demand from students lead us to making that decision” Alex Nelson:  “To follow up that, I always wonder if there were another standard housing option if the housing options like Centennial Square would be as in demand”

Delaney Sophomore Class Representative: I was wondering if you could expand on when you stat- ed that you could not fill standard housing options Gail  When students are placed on a waitlist and we offer them a standard tier option, they turn the option down. We have added standard tier options to many areas around campus such as Yadkin and North College. Delany and Gail continue to speak about the issue regarding standard tier options.
