SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH COUNCIL – DOCUMENTATION CENTRE ACCESSIONS LIST MARCH 2013 ------

INTRODUCTION

The Scientific Research Council Accessions List is a quarterly listing of new additions to the Documentation Centre's collection. New additions cover materials such as books, documents, journals, newsletters, conference papers, and DVDs among other things. The list is compiled at the end of the following months: - March, June, September and December of each year. The materials listed are new to the Centre’s collection but not necessarily new in terms of publication date.

The Accessions List like the “STIN New Additions" is yet another effort to keep SRC staff up-to-date with the most recent publications/materials added to the library’s collection. The subject areas are usually arranged alphabetically for easy use, whilst the classification number at the beginning of each record entry at the left hand corner is to assist users and library staff to locate publications/ materials quickly.

SRC staff members are implored to browse the list for interesting titles. The publications/ materials listed may be borrowed by staff members on specified loan periods.
