WHEREAS, Across This Great State, Many Texans Make the Decision to Seek Professional In-Home

WHEREAS, on March 9, 1929 Ms. Jane Doe was born in Lufkin and has since lived here all her life; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jane graduated from Dunbar High School and went on to work as a trusted, loyal, and dedicated employee in Lufkin almost all her life; and

WHEREAS, while living and working in Lufkin Ms. Jane dutifully cared for and raised her heart’s pride and joy; her four children; and

WHEREAS, she is the most beloved and proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Jane has a favorite hobby of fishing, and has always loved to be on the lakeshores with a rod and reel; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Jane Doe is a loving mother, sister, friend, and grandmother, and she is cherished by her family and friends.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Bob Brown, Mayor of the City of Lufkin, on behalf of the entire City Council, do hereby proclaim March 9, 2014 as

MS. JANE DOE 85TH YEAR CELEBRATION OF LIFE DAY

Be it resolved that a copy of this certificate shall be delivered to her with our best wishes for a Happy 85th Birthday!
