Job Title: Pharmacy Tech – Part Time Position No: 202614
Salary: Based on Education & Experience Location of Position: Lowndes OP Pharmacy Valdosta, GA
Description of Duties : Duties will include filling of prescriptions, inventory control and ordering; Manufacturer Assistance Program enrollment and receivables; Collection of consumer fees and co-pays, answering the telephone and providing assistance for consumers under the guidance of the Pharmacist. Position requires bending and lifting up to 20 pounds. Position requires self motivation and capability of working independently. Position requires medication home delivery if needed in company vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications : High School Graduate. A clean motor vehicle record is required for appointment. Pharmacy Tech experience and excellent computer skills.
Other Desired Qualifications: Graduate of or in a Pharmacy Tech program at an accredited school. Prior experience in an office setting.
Pre-employment drug testing and a criminal records background check are required. If appointed, applicant will be subjected to a Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Databases.
