BOY’S CLOTHING LIST 2017-2018

PLEASE NOTE!!!  All clothing must fit comfortably loose, but not baggy. Used clothing must be in good condition, no rips or fading.  All clothing is subject to approval.  Leave all tags and labels on new items and keep store receipts in case returns are needed.  Do NOT mark clothing! We will do that here.  Please bring all required items and your child to the clothing check; usually, two clothing checks are needed.  Wal-mart is the best and cheapest place to buy these items; think plain and simple.  If you have any questions, please call us at (407) 295-2464  CLOTHING CHECK MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE THE CONTRACT WILL BE SIGNED!

SHOES _____ 1 PAIR OF DRESS SHOES (black or brown leather or vinyl with low heels) No suede or work boot type soles _____ 2 PAIR OF ATHELETIC/SNEAKER SHOES (NO high tops, no Velcro (except youngest boys cottage) or zippers) _____ 1 PAIR OF FLIP-FLOPS, WATER SHOES, OR SLIDES (no leather or zippers)

SHORTS/PANTS _____ 1 PAIR OF SWIM TRUNKS (regular cut; must be dark color or print; must have a liner and drawstring that goes all the way around the waist) _____ 3 PAIR OF BASEKTBALL SHORTS (regular length; any color except white; plain – no emblems, but tiny logos and stripes accepted; must fit snugly around the waist without tying) _____ 2 PAIR OF DENIM SHORTS (walking shorts length; must be hemmed; see note below) _____ 2 PAIR OF DENIM JEANS (see note below) NOTE: Jeans and jean shorts must be relaxed or loose fit; blue denim; no stone or acid washed or skinny jeans; carpenter jeans allowed; must have back and front pockets and belt loops; must fit snugly around waist without belt. _____ 1 PAIR OF KHAKI DRESS PANTS (No Ironing needed, Uniform style; NO cargos or carpenter loops; no 100% cotton) _____ *2 PAIR OF SWEATPANTS (Plain, any solid color but white. Loose fit- no tight-fitting pants. Must be able to comfortably wear gym shorts underneath.)

SHIRTS _____ 1 OXFORD DRESS SHIRT (short sleeved only; white or solid pastel colors; must be poly/cotton; NO 100% cotton) _____ 6 PLAIN CREW-NECK T-SHIRTS (Plain; pocket allowed; any solid color EXCEPT black or white) _____ 4 POLO SHIRTS (Any plain solid color EXCEPT black or white; short sleeved. No stripes, etc.) TIP: Poly/cotton shirts last longer _____ *2 SWEATSHIRTS (Plain; no hoods or zippers; any solid color but white; long sleeved; crew neck) _____ *1 HEAVY WINTER JACKET (no sweatshirt or thin fleece type jackets; washable; any color; no emblems, pictures or logos. May have a hood.)

ACCESSORIES _____ 1 BELT (Plain black or brown, leather or vinyl; must fit belt loops in jeans or shorts) _____ 2 PAIR OF DRESS SOCKS (Nylon; plain gray, navy, or black) _____ 6 PAIRS OF SOCKS (crew or ankle ONLY; NO “Low cut” or “No show”; Cotton blend, gray, navy, black, or white; NO emblems or logos) _____ 6 UNDERWEAR (regular cut SOLID COLOR brief OR boxer-brief only; no regular boxer shorts. May be any solid color, no patterns, logos, stripes, etc.) _____ 2 RAIN PONCHOS (inexpensive plastic kind)

REQUIRED EXTRAS (Bring to clothing check): _____ Bible (preferably NIV) _____ deodorant _____ comb or brush _____ soap with soap box OR bodywash _____ toothbrush with cover _____ shaving gear (13 and older) _____ toothpaste _____ sunscreen (minimum 15 SPF) _____ shampoo _____ if medicated – “day of the week” pill box

OPTIONAL EXTRAS (bring to cottage on the day of admission; these items are allowed at the discretion of the staff): letter writing materials, fishing gear, ball glove, standard bed pillow, stuffed animal, watches (no alarms, chimes, calculators, games, etc) NOTES: 1.Optional extra are allowed only at the discretion of the staff 2.No mouthwash with alcohol or Q-Tips allowed 3.Items marked with an * are due by October home weekend.

REMEMBER: YOU MUST COMPLETE THECLOTHING CHECK BEFORE SCHEDULING A CONTRACT SIGNING!
