The Eleanor Shiras Harris Memorial Scholarship recognizes a student’s academic achievement, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, community involvement and financial need. This scholarship application is open to any full-time male student at Ottawa University (main campus in Ottawa, Kansas) not studying for the ministry. Disbursement of funds will be made each semester for two semesters. To receive the second disbursement, a 2.5 grade point average or better must be earned in the semester coinciding with the initial disbursement of funds. Applications for a continuation of the stipend after two semesters are welcomed and must be made in writing.
