MEETING NOTES

Project: Renovation of Landa Park Bathhouse – 0606 A1

Date: October 16, 2007, 1:30 pm

Location: Landa Parks & Recreation conference room

Purpose of Meeting: Pre-bid Conference

A. Meeting commenced with introductions of all attendees.

B. Solicitation Information 1. Bidding closes on October 26, 2007 at 3:00pm. 2. Bids may be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office for time stamping. 3. All bids must include the Enterprise Owner Information form & conflict of interest questionnaire.

C. Project Scope 1. Protection of the existing Park environment is a high priority. All staging areas will be coordinated with the Parks Department. 2. Scope to include the renovation and remodeling of the restrooms, shower, dressing, training room, and offices. 3. Scope to include new storage rooms. 4. Exterior of building will be modified in order to provide better ventilation of building. 5. Landa Park has high expectations that the project will stay on schedule, after the poor performance of a contractor on a previous park project.

D. Current Project Schedule 1. The project completion date is May 1st, 2008. 2. City Council will review the project after bids are received. The City Council meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday each month.

E. Bathhouse Walk-Thru Comments 1. Fisher Heck will verify with owner that the existing lockers will be removed by the owner prior to the commencement of work by the contractor. 2. The contractor will need to contact New Braunfels Utilities in order to shut off the water to the building prior to any plumbing work being done. The bathhouse currently does not have its own water shut off.

If any of the above items are in error, please send written clarification within 10 working days, else this report will remain as written.
