Your Chapter Logo Host Agreement

Thank you for hosting NKBA’s Your Chapter Meeting.

Hosting a chapter meeting is a Benefit of Membership. If you are a Non-Member Company, NKBA is allowing you to host this chapter meeting one time only in order to see the benefit of membership.

NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) has a diversified membership which includes: manufacturers; distributors; dealers for a variety of products and services including, but not limited to: cabinetry, plumbing, tile, countertops, and appliances; kitchen and bath designers; contractors; students; and local college professors. NKBA- Your Chapter requires that hosts and/or sponsors understand and acknowledge that we may not: 1) Exclude any person(s) from attending the program; or 2) Permit the promotion or advertisement of any product and/or service during the business and educational portion of the meeting, which generally follows registration and networking. 3) All chapter presentations must be generic. Keep in mind that participation in a chapter meeting should in no way constitute approval of or endorsement by the Chapter or the Association of the product, service or firm making the presentation. Educational programs, even if presented by an NKBA member company, must be generic in nature. Because every meeting location is unique, NKBA Your Chapter strives to be flexible, making this a positive experience for all involved. To ensure a successful event, we recommend that you work closely with your NKBA - Your Chapter Contact Person. Our meeting host and/or sponsors are recognized in our chapter meeting notice. At the meeting, the host can promote product and/or services during registration and networking. During the subsequent business and educational portion of the meeting, the host and/or sponsors will be introduced and thanked for their support. Prior to hosting/sponsoring a meeting for the first time, NKBA Your Chapter strongly recommends that you attend at least one meeting to gain insights into facility requirements and event scheduling. NKBA - Your Chapter’s Contact Person will meet with you at your location to do a site check and provide suggestions for best utilizing your facilities and showcasing your product and/or services. Typically, our meeting’s registration and networking begins at ____. Dining usually starts at _____. The business and educational session starts at _____, lasting until about ____.

An educational session is always included in NKBA - Your Chapter meetings. Usually a speaker is featured. Selection of the speaker is the responsibility of NKBA - Your Chapter, but a recommendation and/or assistance attaining a top quality educator is always welcomed. Host Agreement (continued)
