I live in Saltcoats with my family and my new little puppy, Hugo! I like to travel whenever I have the chance (and money!). Farewell Ali Garratt
After finishing her placement at the end of May with The Harbour Centre, we said farewell to Ali our student. During the short time that she was with us she became very much part of the team. We are sad to see her go and wish her well in her future studies and career.
Outings and Activities
Our weekend members enjoyed a trip for morning coffee to the Rowantree Restaurant and garden Centre.

In May we had a visit from musical duo Liz and James Shirley who came and provided an afternoon of musical entertainment. All the members enjoyed the music and singing along. Some comments from members have been recorded;

Our vegetable crops are growing well this year; see the picture below of our first wee crop of strawberries which I’m reliably informed tasted delicious.

Lawrence Lindsay continues to visit every Tuesday to entertain the members with various Football reminiscence from video footage, quizzes and football chat.
Lawrence on the groups: The Football Groups at the Harbour Centre go from strength to strength. Our fortnightly discussions about football from the past and also reflecting on what is going on now in the football world are creating some good discussions.
The attendees at the groups have a background in Junior and Senior Football.
